Lisa Cooper, LCSW, AFC Clinician
Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LABA) in Massachusetts and provides individual, couples, and family therapy at Access for Change. She works with children and adults and especially enjoys working with clients with intersecting neurodevelopmental and behavioral/psychotherapeutic presentations. Lisa utilizes a variety of treatment modalities to support clients in achieving their goals.
Background & Experience
Lisa’s educational background includes a Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Education from Simmons College. She also holds a certificate in Multicultural Neurobiology and Trauma. Lisa has over 10 years of experience working with individuals with varying developmental disabilities in the capacity of behavior consultation to schools, families, and as director of a center providing services for adolescents and adults with autism, Down Syndrome, and other disabilities. She works regularly with individuals struggling with substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Her treatment modalities include CBT, Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based, person centered, ACT, and Aim curriculum.
